Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:
Shyam Gokul Corp Convenience Store (2022102): A request for a General Development Order for construction of a 3,200 square feet convenience store, as well as 22,785 square feet of impervious surface for a vehicular use area including sidewalks. The project will be located on the northwest corner of the intersection of CR 278 (Peacock Bridge Road) and SR 71 South in unincorporated Jackson County.
The Emancipation Day Festival 2022 Temporary Use Permit (2022143): A request for approval of a Temporary Use Permit for a festival event and parade on June 11-12, 2022 located at 4382 Wintergreen Road in unincorporated Jackson County.
Music or Entertainment Festival (Special Entertainment Permit) Ordinance: An ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida, providing for the amendment of Ordinance 2013-06 and Section 74-550 of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances.
The public hearing will be held April 18, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida. The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
