Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:

Garcia Variance Request (2022471) – A request from Katherine Garcia for approval of a variance from Section 42-455(7) of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances to allow a mobile home on her lot in Compass Lake in the Hills that is located at 3050 Southern Boulevard in unincorporated Jackson County.

Northside Storage GDO (2022470) – A request for a General Development Order to construct 5 storage buildings totaling 42,450 square feet along with 35,534 square feet impervious to include roadway area.  The development will be constructed in five phases. Applicant is applying for Phase 1.  This development will be located on the west side of Hwy 71 North approximately 527 feet south of the intersection of Hwy 71 North and Blue Springs Road in unincorporated Jackson County.

The public hearing will be held December 5, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.  The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
