NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:
QuikTrip Convenience Store and Gas Station (2023382) – A request for a General Development Order to construct an 8,292 square foot convenience store, 6,552 square foot auto fuel canopy, 3,663 square foot truck fuel canopy, along with 163,493 square feet of impervious surface for vehicular use. The project will be located at 2638 Hwy 231, on the east side of Hwy 231, less than ¼ mile northeast of I-10 in unincorporated Jackson County.
Into the Woods RV Park Special Exception (2023390) – A request for a special exception pursuant to Jackson County Comprehensive Plan Policy 2.2(2)(3)(a) to allow a 33-unit RV Park to be located on the south side of City Square Road approximately 816 feet west of the intersection of Hwy 231 and City Square Road in unincorporated Jackson County.
Nestrick/LaRue Variance Request (2023400) – A request from Tina Nestrick and Michael LaRue for approval of a variance from Section 42-455(7) of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances to allow a mobile home on their lot in Compass Lake in the Hills that is located at 833 Jefferson Ave in unincorporated Jackson County.
The public hearing will be held November 13, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida. The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
