Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:

Verizon Wireless Leonia 2 Telecommunications Tower (2021354) – A request for a new Type-1 Wireless Telecommunications Facility for Verizon Wireless. This tower will be located at 4550 Timberlane Road in unincorporated Jackson County.

West Florida District Council Assemblies of God, Inc. (2021364) – A request for a General Development Order for a 7,489 square foot district office building and 7,500 square foot storage building to include a vehicular use area and sidewalks for a total of 36,155 square foot of impervious area. The proposed district office and storage building will be located at 1878 Hwy 71 South in unincorporated Jackson County.

The public hearing will be held October 18, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.  The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
