NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:
Cottle Variance (2023190) – A request for a variance from Jackson County Code of Ordinances Section 42-61(c) to allow the use of a recreational vehicle as a permanent residence. The request is for property located at 1307 Pond Lane in unincorporated Jackson County.
Oakdale Townhomes (2023145) – A request for a Preliminary Plat to develop 40-lot residential Townhomes on property owned by Panhandle North, LLC to be located on Hope School Drive approximately 540 feet west of the intersection of Hwy 71 South and Hope School Drive in unincorporated Jackson County. This request also includes a variance to the Jackson County Code of Ordinances Section 42-70(c)(3)(b) Minimum space between building: 25 feet.
The public hearing will be held June 5, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida. The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
