Notice of Public Meeting – LMS Committee
The Jackson County LMS Committee has scheduled a Public Meeting on Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at 11:00 AM, CST via Zoom webinar. The Committee will discuss the draft updates and revisions to the LMS Plan. The County encourages any interested citizens and business owners to attend and provide input. The Committee guides the preparation of the Jackson County LMS, which serves as a plan to reduce the community’s long-term risk for protecting people and property from the effects of natural disasters and to build a safer and stronger community.
The draft Local Mitigation Strategy can be viewed in the Jackson County Administration Department located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL 32448 or online at https://jacksoncountyfl.gov/local-mitigation-strategy-lms/ .
