NOTICE OF SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A SPECIAL PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:
Gilbert Ranch Drive (2023230) – A request by Carl Gilbert for the naming of a new private road to be known as Gilbert Ranch Drive. The private drive runs through property north of Hwy 90 and west of Whiteville Road (Parcel ID# 33-5N-11-0000-0020-0160 and 33-5N-11-0000-0020-0170) in unincorporated Jackson County. The proposed drive is approximately 0.8 – 1 mile in length.
Loves RV Park (2023141) – A request for a General Development Order to construct a 32-unit recreational vehicle park to include a pickleball court with basketball goal, dog park, vehicular parking area, cornhole court, playground, and sidewalks totaling 201,813 of impervious surface area. The project will be located on the north side of Dilmore Road approximately 875 feet east of the intersection of Hwy 231 and Dilmore Road in unincorporated Jackson County.
Partners for Pets (2023221) – A request for a modification to an existing site plan and Development Agreement for Partners for Pets. The request is to change the location of the buildings, decrease the number of buildings from nine to seven and increase the impervious surface area by 66 square feet. This project is located at 2810 Panhandle Road in unincorporated Jackson County.
The public hearing will be held July 10, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida. The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
