Jackson County: Covid-19 Housing Assistance
Jackson County is now accepting applications from households financially impacted by Covid-19 for mortgage, rental, and utility payment assistance. The County has been allocated $240,768.00 from Florida Housing Finance Corporation to fund this program.
The dates eligible to receive assistance are through the period beginning March 1, 2020 and ending December 30, 2020.
To be eligible:
1. Household income cannot exceed the moderate (120%) average median income of Jackson County (see chart below for 2020 income limits)

2. The eligible household must have their primary residence in Jackson County
3.The hardship presented for consideration must be documented and proof must be submitted. Examples may include eviction notices, past due notices, unemployment statements, layoff notices, and bank statements.
