Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:

Overshiner Variance Request (2022414) – A request from William Overshiner for approval of a variance from Section 74-103(8)(c) of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances to allow a setback of 5 feet from wetlands on property that is located at 1595 Hudson Road in unincorporated Jackson County.

Holiday Inn Express (2022410) – A request for a General Development Order for a 57,063 square foot building to be known as Holiday Inn Express and construction of a 42,944 square foot vehicular use area and sidewalks.  The project will be located on the east side of Hwy 71 South approximately .36 miles south of the I-10 corridor in unincorporated Jackson County.

The public hearing will be held October 17, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.  The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
