NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:

Project TAP GDO (2022504) – A request for a General Development Order to construct a 10,496 square foot building, along with a 72,306 square foot vehicular use area and sidewalks to be used as a semi-truck service center and parts store.  This development will be located on the north side of Dilmore Road, approximately 1,870 feet west of Hwy 231 in unincorporated Jackson County.

Dove Rest RV and Mobile Home Park Expansion (2022378) – A request to add four (4) mobile home to an existing RV and Mobile Home Park known as Dove Rest RV and Mobile Home Park.  This project is located at 1973 Dove Rest in unincorporated Jackson County.

Smith Setback Variance Request (2023052) – A request from Peter and Shelly Smith for approval of a variance from Section 42-455(1) of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances to allow their proposed site built dwelling to be constructed on the lot line between lots 14 and 15 of Block 37, Unit 3 of Compass Lake in the Hills Subdivision in unincorporated Jackson County.

Garcia Variance Request (2022471) – A request from Katherine Garcia for approval of a variance from Section 42-455(7) of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances to allow a mobile home on her lot in Compass Lake in the Hills that is located at 3050 Southern Boulevard in unincorporated Jackson County.

The public hearing will be held February 20, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.  The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
