NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:

Southern Grape Company LLC (GDO2023059) – A request for a General Development Order to construct a 9,800 square foot building to be used for a wine production facility along with retail and manufacturing areas and 31, 715 square foot vehicular use area including sidewalks.  The proposed facility will be located on the east side of Hwy 231 approximately 1,723 feet north of the intersection of Hwy 231 and Hwy 73 North in unincorporated Jackson County.  This request is also considered a special exception to the Agriculture 2 Land Use Category.

The public hearing will be held March 20, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.  The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
