NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:

Britt Small Scale Amendment (2023226) – A request to change the Future Land Use designation of one parcel totaling 1-acre from Agriculture 2 (AG2) to Commercial (COM) located on the east side of Hwy 231 approximately 0.37 miles southeast of New Bethel Road in unincorporated Jackson County.

Darby Small Scale Amendment (2023229) – A request to change the Future Land Use designation of one parcel totaling 9.05-acres from Agriculture 2 (AG2) to Mixed Use Urban Transitional (MUUT) located on the south side of Old Spanish Trail approximately 1 mile east of the intersection of Hwy 90 and Old Spanish Trail in unincorporated Jackson County.

CD RV Park (2023218) – A request for a General Development Order to construct a 6-unit recreational vehicle park totaling 12,363.1 square feet of impervious surface area.  The project will be located on the north side of Carter Loop approximately 230 feet east of the intersection of Rocky Creek Road and the northern ingress/egress of Carter Loop in unincorporated Jackson County.

The public hearing will be held July 17, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.  The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
