Notice of Special Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE JACKSON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION OF ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW THE FOLLOWING AND OTHER BUSINESS:

Jackson County Road and Bridge Office Facility GDO-2021301- A request to construct an 8,057 square foot building to be known as the Jackson County Road and Bridge Office Facility with 6,540 square feet of vehicular use area.  This project will be located at 2486 Panhandle Road in unincorporated Jackson County.

Road Abandonment Ordinance – An ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida providing for the amendment of Chapter 74 – Division 8 – Subdivision 5 of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances.  

Recreational Vehicle Ordinance – An ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida providing for the amendment of Chapter 74 Jackson County Code of Ordinances

Floodplain Ordinance – An ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Jackson County, Florida providing for the amendment of Chapter 38 Jackson County Code of Ordinances

Film and Motion Photography Ordinances – A general review and consideration enactment of the Jackson County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 74 (Land Development Regulations-Subdivision 6-Film and Motion Photography).

The public hearing will be held August 30, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board of County Commission Meeting Room of the Jackson County Administration Building at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida.  The documents may be inspected at the Jackson County Community Development Department at 4979-B Healthy Way, Marianna, FL, 32446. Persons wishing to comment may do so in person at the public hearing or in writing to the Jackson County Community Development Department.
